About this Event

Following our first online meeting on March 23rd, SCiO, ThemPra Social Pedagogy, Bray and North Wicklow Area Partnership, Southside Partnership and Northside Partnership are delighted to invite you to a free in-person workshop to share what’s already happening around relational public services in Ireland and how we can take these developments further forward by connecting with each other.

This event is a fantastic opportunity to grow our emergent network face-to-face, build relationships, learn from and with others about their relational practices, with the aim to create greater connection and explore synergies.

We are thrilled to announce that ( / ) has kindly agreed to join us for this gathering. Toby is one of the leading figures behind and co-author of . This will be an exciting opportunity to learn from and with him.

What to expect:

  • From insights to inspiration: What relational public services are currently taking place in Ireland and beyond.
  • Growing connections: Strengthening relationships to co-create an Irish network for relational public services.
  • Active discussion: Engaging conversations with others from across the sector to explore how we can collectively grow relational public services in Ireland.

If you'd like to join us, please register here, so that we know you're coming.

SAOL Project are very kindly offering us a free room in central Dublin, so we can keep this workshop free of charge. We do have limited spaces, so please register early.

Why we're interested in co-creating a relational public services network in Ireland:

Joan O'Donnell (Systems Being and SCiO Ireland) has been doing lots of work around bringing systemic thinking and practice to human centred systems. Adele O'Neill (Bray and North Wicklow Area Partnership) is currently leading on a Government funded pilot project using HLS to better understand child poverty from a systems perspective, with Gabriel Eichsteller (ThemPra and HLS Collaborative) supporting the adaptation of HLS and learning across local systems. We'd love to bring together anyone else who is determined to promote relational public services to explore how we can best achieve this collectively. Southside Partnership and Northside Partnership are actively supporting our endeavour too.
