The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History presents the 2026 Roots & Futures Youth Summit!! This immersive experience is crafted for teens ages 13 and up, blending spoken word, storytelling, and writing inspired by the museum’s powerful collection. It’s a chance to explore identity, history, and imagination from the heart of the second-largest African American museum in the U.S.
The Youth Summit will be taking place on August 8th from 10:30am - 5pm, beginning in the museum's Wright Community Room. Lunch, snacks, and breaks are included.
PARENTS SHOULD BE PREPARED TO PICK STUDENTS UP AT 5pm SHARP.
This is a FREE offering, however, registration through the link on this event page is required. This form should be completed by a Parent or Guardian.
