There is a lot happening in our city and in the world that cannot be ignored. Long before things manifest physically, they move spiritually and energetically. Many people were never taught how to process stress, conflict, grief, and life’s challenges in healthy ways. As a result, we often find ourselves surrounded by individuals who are unwell mentally, emotionally, and spiritually-and at any moment that imbalance can turn inward or outward.
This is spiritual warfare, and it is imperative that we take intentional steps to protect and balance ourselves.
We are gathering to slow down, reconnect, and realign through prayer, meditation, breath work, and the sharing of grounding, peaceful food. This is a space to check in with the state of your temple-body, mind, and spirit and to nourish all three with care and presence.
While taking action in the world is important, it is equally important to ask:
How am I holding stress?
How am I processing what I’m witnessing?
How is my spirit being tended to?
If you feel called to join us, you are welcome.
If you are led to bring your own tools, practices, or gifts such as prayer, breathwork, sound, grounding techniques, or meditative practices to help elevate and support the space, please do so.
Please bring something comfortable to sit on, such as a yoga mat or blanket.
Dress comfortably to support relaxation and grounding.
