Join us at The Generalist Store in downtown Johnson City for free monthly wellness events the 1st Wednesday of every month.We are so excited to bring “Rooted” a series of monthly wellness collaborations to the downtown community that we hope will continue into the months and years to come. Featuring local holistic health providers as our guest speakers on different wellness topics each month, Q&As, information about local services and resources, wellness givewaways, and more!

Strength training isn’t just about building big muscles. It improves bone density, reduces the risk of chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease, and boosts metabolism. As we age, we naturally lose muscle mass. However, strength training helps build and maintain muscle, which is linked to a longer lifespan and improved health outcomes. She’ll discuss the importance of functional strength training that mimics everyday movements. This can improve mobility, balance, and independence as we age. Feel like it’s too late to get started?
