Rooted in Wonder is a hands-on herbal summer camp for children ages 6-10 where children explore the world of plants through play, creativity, food, and real-life skills—moving from curiosity into connection.
Day 1: Meet the Plants
Sensory exploration, tasting, and hands-on creation introduce plants as living beings. Each child takes home a plant, beginning a relationship rooted in care.
Day 2: Flowers, Color & Expression
A creative day with flowers—natural dyes, simple herbal creations, and exploring how plants influence mood, beauty, and expression.
Day 3: The Hidden World Beneath Us
Children discover soil, decomposition, and underground networks through interactive play, learning how everything in nature is connected.
Day 4: From Plant to Plate
Hands-on experiences with food and herbs, introducing simple foraging concepts and how plants nourish the body.
Day 5: Trees, Strength & Celebration
A grounding close to the week—exploring trees, reflecting on learning, and celebrating with a final creation.
