Discover the beauty of Texas through the eyes of 39 Texas artists, showcasing 61 pieces of stunning fiber art inspired by the state's natural textures, landscapes, and cultures. From vibrant colors to intricate patterns, experience a stunning variety of paint, thread, cloth, wood, wire, and more! 🌾
The exhibition is juried by Paula Owen, an accomplished artist and former President of the Southwest School of Art, whose career has been celebrated by the City of San Antonio and the San Antonio Art League. 🌟
Artists exhibiting are Lydia Alegria White, Suzanne Armstrong, Zet Baer, Margret Bamford, Laura Ann Beehler, Lyn Belisle, Nettie Birnbaum, Beverly Blair, Lucy Burton, Marilyn Camp-Jones, Anita Centeno, Sherry Christensen, Ilna Colemere, Mel Dugosh, Margaret Fitch, Barbara Friedson, Nancy Gerfers, Sarah Gonzales Busse, Jamie Graham, Becky Hadley, Polly Hansen, Becky Heye, Caterina Holdbrook, Nena King, Renita Kuhn, Susan Lanford, Claudia Langford, Rhea Lea, Shirley Moehring, Susie Monday, Terry Gay Puckett, Linda Rael, Patsy Sasek, Rebecca Switzer, Leslie Watson Tomlinson, Kathleen Trenchard, Byrdy Wagner, Alison Whittemore, Jeannette Wilson
There is also a Non Juried component to the exhibition which gives both FASA members and Students K - 12 (hosted by Spare Parts) the opportunity to have a small piece of art in the exhibit without going through the juried process. This offers them exposure for their artwork and perhaps an incentive to continue their journey as artists.
