Marketing overwhelm usually comes down to two things: not knowing who your brand is and what it stands for, and not having the visuals to show it. Fix both, and marketing becomes a little simpler.

Join us in person for Rooted, with Bec Hudson Smith & Lucy Alexandra Dunn, this October, and explore the basics of building a strong brand and visual content, including 2 brand shots of your own* — professional images, taken by Bec on the day, so you're not starting your content from a blank page.

Whether you're launching a new venture or refreshing your style, you'll leave with fresh ideas and practical tips to help you avoid the overwhelm and get confident with the brand you want to create — one that feels like you.

The day isn't about leaving with a perfected brand. It's about exploring what underpins your business and your brand, so you have the clarity to know what to say — and the images to show it — consistently, without second-guessing yourself every time you share anything to do with your business.

The day will commence at 10am, and we'll be wrapping up by 4pm.

You'll hear from Lucy and from Bec in the morning.

We'll then 'break out' and have mini individual 'drop-in' sessions with Lucy and Bec, alongside use of the coworking space we'll be meeting in. So you can chat through your ideas with Lucy and take some photos with Bec.

(These are both optional, so don't feel pressured to do both if you don't want to on the day).

You're welcome to stay for as long or as short a time as you like.

If you're a product brand and would rather these shots were of the product than yourself, we can do that too — but the session will be limited to 10 minutes per person.

Pastries will be provided on the day, and tea and coffee throughout.

There are several lovely spots very close by if you'd like to pop out for a more substantial lunch too.
