About this Event
ROOTED & Unbothered: How to Bully-Proof Your Confidence, Boundaries, and Identity is an interactive anti-bullying workshop designed to help youth become harder targets by strengthening what bullying most often tries to weaken: confidence, boundaries, and identity.
Rather than focusing only on what to do after bullying happens, this workshop helps youth understand how bullying gains power in the first place, and how that power is lost when a young person knows who they are, trusts their voice, and responds with clarity and calm instead of reactivity.
Participants will explore real-life social situations they encounter at school, online, and with peers, and practice age-appropriate strategies for:
- recognizing unhealthy social patterns
- regulating emotional responses
- setting and holding healthy boundaries
- making clear decisions under pressure
This workshop is preventative and skills-based. It creates a safe, structured environment where youth can reflect, participate, and practice without shame, pressure, or performative empowerment.
The purpose of this work extends far beyond the school years. Youth who learn to recognize manipulation, protect their boundaries, and stay grounded early are far less likely to experience emotional, mental, or physical abuse later in life.
These are not just anti-bullying skills, they are life-protective skills that carry into adolescence, relationships, and leadership spaces.
When youth are rooted, they become unbothered, not just now, but for life.
