Rooted & Rising Youth Enrichment Week
Program Dates: Monday, August 17 – Saturday, August 22, 2026
Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Saturday, August 22: Awards Celebration at Brower Park (12:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
For Ages 5–15 (Children are grouped by age.)

Rooted & Rising is a one-of-a-kind youth enrichment experience designed to help children grow in confidence, discover new talents, build meaningful friendships, and develop practical life skills before heading back to school.
Throughout the week, participants will enjoy engaging, hands-on workshops that inspire creativity, leadership, and personal growth, including:

What Makes Rooted & Rising Different?
Every lesson is intentionally connected to timeless biblical principles.
Whether children are learning about saving money, starting a business, preparing healthy meals, growing plants, or working together as a team, they'll also discover biblical values such as wisdom, integrity, stewardship, perseverance, kindness, gratitude, and serving others.
Our goal isn't simply to keep children busy during the week—we want to help them build a strong foundation that will guide them long after the week is over. By connecting practical life skills with biblical truth, children learn not only what to do, but also why those choices matter.
The week concludes with a joyful Awards Celebration at Brower Park, where families will celebrate each child's accomplishments, growth, and the friendships they've built throughout the program.

Day 1 – I Am Rooted

Day 1 – I Am Rooted
Info: Children will explore who they are through creative, hands-on projects that build confidence, teamwork, and a strong foundation of faith. Activities include creating an Identity Tree filled with their strengths, designing a personalized Identity Shield, decorating a Mirror Affirmation Project to take home, and completing a Tower Building Challenge. The day also includes an interactive Bible lesson featuring David and Esther.
Day 2 – I Am Growing

Day 2 – I Am Growing
Info: Children will learn how healthy choices, faith, and perseverance help them grow. They will create a Growth Vision Board, plant a seed to care for at home, complete a Good Soil/Bad Soil activity about positive and negative influences, and add encouraging messages to the class Growth Wall. The day includes an interactive Bible lesson featuring Joseph and Ruth.
Day 3 – I Am Building

Day 3 – I Am Building
Info: Children will step into the role of young entrepreneurs and problem-solvers. They will develop a business idea, create a logo and brand, design a product, and take part in a Mini Marketplace and fun product-pitch challenge. Team-building activities and a Bible lesson about Nehemiah will reinforce leadership, creativity, and working together with purpose.
Day 4 – I Am Nourished

Day 4 – I Am Nourished
Info: Children will learn practical ways to care for their body, mind, and spirit. Activities include Daniel’s Kitchen Challenge, preparing a healthy snack, learning about balanced nutrition, creating a personal Wellness Wheel, and making a Gratitude Basket. The day includes a Bible lesson about Daniel and the importance of making healthy, thoughtful choices.
Day 5 – I Am Called

Day 5 – I Am Called
Info: Children will explore their gifts, purpose, and the difference they can make in their community. They will paint Purpose Rocks, create Legacy Tiles, develop personal purpose statements, and work together in the Mission Possible Challenge to solve a real-world problem. Bible lessons featuring Samuel and Esther will encourage courage, leadership, and using their gifts.

Families are invited to Brower Park for a joyful celebration of the week. Children will showcase their projects, share what they learned, receive awards and recognition, and enjoy games, food, music, fellowship, and family fun. The program will conclude with encouragement and prayer as participants prepare to begin the new school year feeling confident and empowered.
