Root2Rise Sound Bath : Rest as Medicine
About this Event
Root2Rise Sound Bath: Rest as Medicine
As the nights draw in and we transition into the colder season, SelfHealSounds invites you into an intentional space to slow down, soften, and recharge.
Held as an extension of Black History Month, this intimate gathering is open to everyone while warmly prioritising Black and Brown people from the LGBTQ+ community—centring our rest, our collective presence, and the essential reminder that rest itself is medicine. Deep rest is the body and minds optimal state for self healing!
Across this 60-minute journey, you will experience:
- Deep Relaxation: Regulating the nervous system and finding stillness.
- Guided Meditation: Grounding awareness within the body and inviting rest without shame
- Soundbath: Immersive therapeutic tones from planetary gongs, crystal bowls and other ethereal instruments
- Grounding Integration: Sealing the session so you leave feeling restored and rooted.
