💫 As we are a listening room, we ask that attendees arrive for the start of event at 8pm. If arriving after 8pm please arrive quietly and respectfully.

💫 The Anza Club is a 19+ venue. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages can be purchased at the bar. All beer is from local craft breweries.

💫 The Anza Club doesn't serve food. Outside food can be brought in from anywhere so that you enjoy performances while eating and drinking.

💫 Venue closes at midnight. You can continue to mingle, drink and chat after the show. If you become a member of the Anza club you can drink, play pool and darts in their cool, little bar downstairs after event.

MADDY LOFVENDAHL

“Maddy Lofvendahl is a 22-year-old singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Vancouver, BC. Growing up surrounded by music she began writing songs from a young age. Drawing inspiration from artists like Stevie Wonder and The Beatles to Steely Dan and Carole King.

Her debut single ‘Fault Line’ combines elements of pop and funk pulling from influences Lawrence, Vulfpeck, and Conor Albert, it tells the story of distance and change in relationships. Her second single 'Scared of Heights' highlights the challenges and uncertainty of navigating long-distance relationships. The jazz-influence shines through to create a sound that is upbeat and soulful. Her single "Walk Away" is a pop-rock song about the emotional turmoil when nearing the end of a relationship. Her latest single "Do It Again" has a mellow soul-pop vibe that explores the feeling of being trapped in a routine. The instrumentation is tinged with a laid-back retro feel. Inspired by 70's motown, r&b and funk.

With more music in the works she looks forward to experimenting with new sounds and sharing more projects soon.”

RAIAAN

“RAIAAN is an R&B and pop singer/songwriter originally from Kenya, currently residing in Vancouver, Canada. Influenced by crooners such as; Etta James and Louis Armstrong, and storytellers like Eloise, Maya Delilah, and Bruno Major.

RAIAAN amalgamates his smooth vocals with emotional and catchy melodies for a modern sound that pays homage to his predecessors. After working alongside a bunch of amazing artists, producers, engineers, and creators, RAIAAN has just released his debut album in September of 2023, while still producing and engineering for other upcoming artists on the side.

He has also had some experience working with an outdoor live project called the Ice-Cream Truck Collective as the audio engineer, as well as some experience performing with a collective of amazing artists known as “The Supermrkt Social.” RAIAAN is now looking forward to performing his album through various gigs around the city, while also working alongside some incredible Vancouver based artists to write and release more music in the near future.”

BUKOLA

“Most recently heard on the soundtrack of the Netflix show, “Ginny & Georgia”, Bukola is an up and coming musician from Vancouver, BC who blends the sounds of R&B and Jazz to create her own soulful sound. She’s been influenced by artists such as India Arie, Amy Winehouse and Summer Walker.”
