This is a storytime of Room on the Broom. During the storytime we will practice the different sounds and facial expressions and small lines of each character in preparation for acting out the play the next week. We'll also do a small craft (making some props for the play the following week). And there will be some free play with the dress ups we'll use for the play the following week.
This event will be held in the kids area of the San Antonio Botanical Gardens - at the small stage area next to the small wood play houses.
This event is geared toward kids around the age of 5-6 years of age. Siblings are welcome to attend. Parents are expected to stay with their kids.
The following week (Oct 11) we will meet again and act out the play with a narrator, costumes, and simple props.
This event is free and not sponsored by the botanical gardens, just a homeschool mom wanting to have fun acting out a story. You must pay your own entrance fees to enter the botanical gardens.
