Take this unique opportunity to go on one of our popular rooftop tours. Soak up the sunshine and enjoy a late spring evening gazing across the landscape garden and local countryside. Climb the noble cantilevered stone staircase to admire the magnificent view from the roof and look over the world-famous garden; this truly is ‘the finest view in England’. These tours are unique and sell out fast, early booking is essential.
Tickets cost £15 and for safety reasons is adult only.
Roof access is subject to weather conditions.
Please note that your ticket does not include admission to the National Trust garden.
Please arrive at the Stowe House private entrance (MK18 5EH signposted Stowe School) where you can park close to the House.
Roof-top tours are weather dependent. Please note that the roof is accessed via four flights of steep stairs. We do not allow children under 16 onto the roof. We suggest you do not come on the rooftop tour if you have any knee or back or heart issues that may be affected by walking up the stairs onto the roof or if you are heavily pregnant, this is due to the last set of stairs being very steep. Please wear practical shoes – no high-heeled shoes.
