Ron's Place

Join us for a tour of Ron's Place, a unique and internationally acclaimed ‘visionary art environment' created by artist Ron Gittins (1939 - 2019) in Birkenhead.

The late Ron Gittins left behind a rented ground floor flat decorated and piled high with artworks. Unbeknown to anyone else, Ron spent decades creating artworks painted and sculpted on to the walls and ceilings of his home, which is now a rare example of 'Outside Art'.

At the start of March, the building containing Ron's Place will be sold at auction. The 'Saving Ron's Place' initiative are working together with the hope to conserve and preserve the unique creative legacy of Ron's Place. A fundraising campaign has been set up, with donations going towards the initiative's aim of purchasing the building and much more.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your tour time at the Caernarvon Castle Pub. We'll then walk over to Ron's Place.

- Tickets must be ordered in advance of all events, and will not be available to book at the event.
