Ronald McDonald House OC - Dinner

Please prepare food for 50-60 people. At this time, volunteer groups of 15 people can cook and stay for the dinner. If volunteers don't wish to stay for the dinner, they can cook the dinner, clean up the kitchen, and head out.

Home-cooked meals are unfortunately not allowed. All meals must be cooked on-site.

In addition to the meal, we ask that you provide drinks, utensils and paper goods for the meal. Additional snack items (granola bars, snack crackers, fruit cups or fresh fruit) are always welcome but not required

We ask that no one experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness drop off meals. Many of our families have children with compromised immune systems, leaving them more vulnerable to illness and disease. Exposure may complicate medical treatment and put our children at risk.

When you arrive, walk into the foyer and let the front office staff know you are scheduled to make a Meal of Love, Someone from RMHOC will help you unload items if needed and then show you back to the kitchen.

We are social media friendly! RMHOC is on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter - please tag us using #ronaldhouseoc and #mealoflove. You are encouraged to take pictures of your group and share information about the House on social media. However, we ask that you respect our guests' privacy and do not take pictures of families.

We understand that sometimes schedules change or complications arise that prevent you from being able to participate in the Meal of Love, However, our families typically plan their meals and finances around our scheduled Meals of Love, so if you have to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible and contact the RMHOC main line at 714-639-3600.

if you cancel within 48 hours or your group does not show up for the Meal of Love you will be charged a $175 Meal Cancellation Fee. This money will go directly to providing the families a dinner for that night.
