Ron Jackson Quartet

The Ron Jackson Quartet returns to the Puffin stage to perform jazz standards and original compositions including three new songs to be released on a new EP.

Jackson is one of a handful of master jazz guitarists known for playing the seven-string jazz guitar.

Performing with Ron Jackson on 7-string guitar are Eric Person (saxophone) Dishan Harper and Steve Johns (drums).

Having performed recorded and taught music in over 30 countries Ron Jackson most recently produced composed and played on Kevin Powell’s GRAMMY Award-nominated album “Grocery Shopping With My Mother”. With a discography of more than 10 albums starting with his debut album “It's A Guitar Thing (Muse)” in 1992 Jackson’s most recent release "Standards And My Songs" hit the Top 10 on theJazzWeek radio chart in 2022 and it is his second album recorded exclusively with a seven-string guitar.
