Eagle's Nest is Back again to perform Romeo and Juliet on the Friday Night but this time there is a differenceYOU CAN BE IN THE SHOW
Meet at tree for all workshops - be ontime -group will depart at 5 min past the hour.
Leave a comment and which workshop you want to attend so we have dome idea of numbers or just meet us at the tree at the time.
THURSDAY 8pm - when it ends
Deep heart chat Romeo amd Julet the play and what it means today with James (Eagle's Nest Artistic Director) and Juno (Juliet)
NOT a sober only event but please come able to be mindful and connect. Pillows and foodsharing welcome.
FRIDAY - 10am - 11am - Poetry
O O Romiet & J J Juliio with James & Juno
Write a love poem and give it to a stranger or keep it for yourself in a space promoting feeling connecting courage and consent
FRIDAY - 12pm - 1pm - STAGE COMBAT Capulats VS Montagues with James
Sword making and fight choreography. No physical contact or fighting involved.
***Participants can be involved in the fight scenes on stage.
FRIDAY - 1pm - 2pm - FACEPAINTING AND DRESS UPS
The art of the Mask - Will you be ready for the Capulet ball? Your face is a mask! Make it shine paint and set it free - get ya fancy duds on for the big event.
FRIDAY - 2pm - 3pm - SINGING
The singing heart With Nela
Vocal workshop - improvisation, simple rhythmic melodic patterns, original song-making, fun with love and loss. Participants will be able to perform at Romeo and Juliet's wedding and and the end of the show.
FRIDAY 4pm - 5pm - DANCE
THE DANCE THE DANCE THE DANCE
Learn the steps to impress society and avoid stepping on your dream boat’s toes. ***Participants cacbe the dancers at the Capulet Ball.
FRIDAY 515pm- All workshop participants meet at the stage
FRIDAY - 6pm Romeo & Juliet - The Show with you and your kids in it.
SATURDAY - 12-2pm THEATRE AND AUDITION WORKSHOP
Be the stars of next year - come to a theatre workshop with James (Eagle’s Nest Artistic Director) with the chance to learn the skills fof an audition. If you do really well in the workshop we may even be invited to come work with Eagle's Nest in 2027.
*only people over 18 can be considered for work opportunities.
SUNDAY - 12pm - 1pm - Rocks and meditative walks
Learn to shape a rock using only another rock - hear the story of Doug and Kristine Tompkins who created Patagonia National Park - soothe your soul and remind yourself how you change the world.
NB: James is happy to offer one on one rock shaping walks and chats any time you can find him with nothing to do.
