For more than a decade, Rome Ramirez has acted as lead singer and frontman for Sublime with Rome, a new edition of the iconic ska punk band, adding his own flare to a sound that shaped summers and soundtracked road trips. Having stepped in for the late Bradley Nowell, founder and frontman of the original Sublime, Rome has played to packed crowds around the world and helped carry the torch for a group of musicians who defined a generation. With multiple gold and platinum records, Rome built a career on versatility and straight-up talent. But now, for the first time, he’s stepping out entirely on his own. His solo work is a return to roots – not just socially, but spiritually.
