NEW YEAR... SAME YOU BUT ON ROLLER SKATES!!
It's a new year so it's time for a new sport!!
You'll look back on January 2026, knowing that it was the first step into the best timeline. It's time for a taster session and our new intake!
We are hosting our usual 2 hour taster session to our full contact sport on roller skates. But don't worry, we wont be throwing you in the deep end!! This session, and our new intake, is all about teaching you the basics of the sport: How to skate, understand the rules and how to play!
If you have any nerves or worries about coming along to our taster - please don't hesitate to get in touch! Our commitment is to create a safe, inclusive space and we can walk through any details to help you prepare for a session 🙂 You don't need any experience in skating whatsoever, so don't let that stop you from coming along, you can learn it all with us!! We will provide all the kit you need if you chose to rent them from us so you dont need have have all your own stuff!

This form will create an attendee list, as a first come first serve basis attendees will be emailed details on how to secure their spot: £5 (+£2 for kit hire) payment to paypal). Any number higher than our capacity, will be placds on a waiting list and/or invited to attend off skates You will have a certain amount of days to secure your spot, outside of that time your spot will be offered to someone on the waitlist!
OFF SKATES ATTENDANCE
Continuing this year we have seen a rise in you amazing folks waiting to get in on the action with our OFF-SKATES roles in Roller Derby. So if you would like to check out what Roller Derby is all about without putting on skates just yet we would love to have you along to our taster session NO CHARGE. Roller derby cannot run without our Non Skating Officials and this avenue is a great way to get into the sport, learn the rules and gameplay fast and literally run every single jam ever!

The taster session, and New Intake, is 18+. Both are Open To All genders, your pronouns will be respected. Dundee Roller Derby have a have zero tolerance for intolerance.
The week after our taster will be our first session of the New Intake! We will advertise the sign up through this page so make sure you keep an eye out after your taster 😁
✨WHY✨
Roller derby is the full contact sport on quad roller skates! If you've taken up quad roller skating in the past few years this is the way to take that up a notch and join an amazing supportive community. Our taster sessions give you an intro of what our league gets up to, how we teach roller derby and basically introduce you the the best sport ever..!!!
It's a great way to get fit, get strong, meet some amazing people and its a super easy "Ice breaker" fun fact about yourself that you can wap oot at any work meet and greet...!!
