Come find some real life treasure 🎨🪨Your Fort Collins Art Community is having an Art & Seek Event
Sunday, September 7th!
Please join Colorado Art Mom, who is actually a group of moms that love painting and spreading joy & kindness. We are bringing more than 60 painted rocks for the community to find, enjoy and keep!
All painted rocks will be hidden in a designated area near the playground.
Meet at Rolland Moore Park in Fort Collins, Colorado near the playground at 9:30am.
The “Rock Hunt” will start promptly at 9:40am.
*** most of the rocks will be found within 10 minutes! ⏱️
This is a FREE event, however;
$5 donations are accepted for art supplies & advertising for future rock hunts.
Our ONE RULE! 1️⃣
If you find more than one rock;
please keep only the ONE you like the best!
REHIDE the others.
We want to make sure everyone who comes has the chance to find a painted treasure.
In the past attendees have been really nice in sharing and trading so that everyone leaves happy.😁
Yes, adults can keep a rock too but please only people who attend the event may take a rock, do not take an extra home to a family member who didn't come.
Please consider bringing your own painted rocks and...
1. "Hiding them" - Set somewhere it can be seen but is not obvious. Remember you want someone to find it, so think Easter egg hunt.
2. "Trading them" - Ask a friend or fellow rocker if they have a rock they want to trade for one of yours.
3. "Gifting them" - (my favorite) Give a painted rock away to anyone for no reason at all. Say I have a gift for you and hand them your beautiful art!
Painted rocks should be sprayed with a clear spray paint or polyurethane to prevent ware and protect against weather.
This is an all ages family event, please stay with your children while rock hunting and playing at public parks.
