Have you always been curious about Dungeons & Dragons, but never quite known how to begin? This welcoming, story-first event is designed as a gentle first step into role-playing, perfect for adults (15+) who love fantasy, storytelling, and imaginative worlds - no rules knowledge, no experience, and absolutely no pressure required.
Rather than focusing on complicated mechanics, this session invites you into what D&D does best - shared storytelling, collaborative problem-solving and an opportunity to step into another world for a few magical hours!
You’ll be guided through a complete, beginner-friendly adventure by Kyle Duncan - an experienced Dungeon Master - with everything provided, including pre-created characters, dice, and all the tools you’ll need. You simply show up, settle in, and play!

The Story: A Holiday in Heartsmeadow
Bows of evergreen are strung across the hearths, and lantern lights hang along quiet lanes of Heartsmeadow, peaked with small drifts of snow. In the coldest days of winter, the village prepares for a sacred celebration, the lighting of the meadow-lake, where villagers gather around and watch for stars reflected in the freezing waters, seeking omens for the coming year.
The scars of the past, however, linger beneath the surface.
In the wake of the great war, you and your friends were the few left able to defend the village from a goblin raid last summer, and your bravery brought peace and a new optimism to Heartsmeadow. But strange occurrences have begun to stir, hinting that not all spirits are at rest in the quiet snow-covered village. It falls to you, trusted heroes of Heartsmeadow, to uncover the truth before darkness shrouds the holiday's light...
