Some of the names that helped shape the Solar Arts community are coming back to the building.
Since opening in 2012, Solar Arts has been a working home for artists, makers and creatives from across Minneapolis and beyond. Over the years some really dynamic artists have made their work here, shown in exhibitions in the gallery, and built their creative enterprises.
ROLL CALL brings that history together in one exhibition.
Former Solar Arts artists return for a reunion show alongside current members, featuring artwork from the people who have been part of the building’s story over the past 15 years.
It’s a snapshot of Solar Arts then and now. A few familiar faces. A lot of new work. And an entire building full of creative history.
ROLL CALL opening reception is Thursday, November 5th from 5–9pm.
Live Music on the 2nd Floor Gallery Stage:
6–7:30pm — Zoe Says Go
Indeed Brewing Co. and Pizzeria Lola will be serving up food and drinks on site.
