The ROK Golf Men's Spring League is a unique and exciting golfing experience that combines camaraderie and competition, similar to the concept of an old-school bowling league, but with a golf twist. Here's a detailed breakdown of what this league entails:

Dates:

• The league runs for a duration of four weeks, starting from the week of March 24th and ends April 20th.

Teams:

• Teams are comprised of 4 to 6 players, and you have the flexibility to form your team from your golfing friends, coworkers, neighbors, or even join as an individual and be placed in a team.
• Each week, the top 3 individual scores from your team count towards your team's score.
• Creativity is encouraged, so team names and uniforms are highly recommended to add an extra layer of fun and identity to your group.

Format:

• The league utilizes a scoring system where the top 3 team scores are counted each week.
• The cumulative team score after the 4-week period will determine the league champion, so there's room for comebacks and surprises.

League Nights:

• League nights are scheduled for Wednesdays and Thursdays, and you can choose between these time slots.
• These events take place at both ROK Golf locations.
• Snacks will be provided during league nights, and there will be special deals on beer and wine at either location.

League Fees:

• The cost to enter the league is $750 per team, making it affordable for groups of friends or colleagues.

Team Referral Bonus:

• Bring a NEW team (4 players min) and get $100 off your team league fee! New team must reguster and refer you specifically to Ryan or Julian.

Prize Pool:

• Each player will pay $110 in cash per player for the prize pool, which adds a competitive edge to the experience.

Golf Format:

• The league utilizes a 9-hole Stableford scoring system based on a Quota system, where different point values are assigned for different scores (1 point for Bogey, 2 for Par, 4 for Birdie, 6 for Eagle, and 8 for Double Eagle).
• Trackman simulators are used to maintain fairness, and these settings cannot be modified.
• The Quota system takes your handicap and converts it to a point threshold. That is what you are expected to score under the Stableford system. A positive differential means you earned points for your team; a negative differential means you lose points for your team.

Gameplay:

• Each team will consist of 3 players per bay, and they will have 1.5 hours to complete their 9-hole round.
• Handicaps will be established and adjusted weekly by ROK Staff to ensure fair competition.
• Putting is manual with a 12-foot gimme circle.

Rules and Eligibility:

• ROK reserves the right to adjust any handicap used in bad faith.

Team Captains:

• Each team will have a designated Team Captain who will act as the point person for communication and coordination within the team.

• League fees will be collected at ROK Golf during the first week of the league.

Prizes:

• The exact prizes will be determined based on the number of players in the league and the size of the prize pool.
• As an example, weekly team winners will receive 10% of the prize pool, and the season team champion will receive 40%.
• The league may expand prize distribution based on participation.
