Roger Bartlett — Presented by the Key West Parrot Head Club
📅 Sunday, September 6, 2026
⏰ 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
📍 Key West EmPOURium Listening Room, 618 Duval St
Settle in for an intimate, up-close performance with Roger Bartlett, the original lead guitarist for Jimmy Buffett and one of the architects of the sound that launched the Coral Reefer Band. His guitar work helped define the earliest days of Buffett's career, and this rare listening room performance offers the opportunity to experience those songs the way they were meant to be heard—personal, relaxed, and just a few feet away.
Joining Roger is Emily Randle, an internationally acclaimed concert violinist and retired U.S. Army Sergeant Major. Her expressive style and remarkable musicianship add a beautiful new dimension to the music, creating an unforgettable collaboration that blends masterful storytelling with soaring violin.
Held inside the Key West EmPOURium Listening Room, this is a true listening experience—small, focused, and designed for those who want to connect more deeply with the music and the stories behind it. This special ticketed event is presented by the Key West Parrot Head Club.
Often referred to as "Coral Reefer #1," Roger Bartlett was Jimmy Buffett's first lead guitarist and a founding member of the original Coral Reefer Band. His signature guitar work can be heard on the classic hit "Come Monday," and he later reunited with Jimmy during the production of the acclaimed album Volcano, cementing his place in Buffett's musical legacy.
Beyond his work with Buffett, Roger wrote and performed "Fool for a Blonde," featured in the cult classic film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and has enjoyed a long and diverse career leading his own bands while performing alongside artists from New York to Las Vegas.
Emily Randle brings an equally remarkable story to the stage. A retired U.S. Army Sergeant Major and internationally recognized concert violinist, she has built a career that spans military leadership and world-class musical performance. Her ability to seamlessly bridge classical virtuosity with contemporary styles makes her a captivating performer whose artistry perfectly complements Roger's iconic guitar work.
