Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella - an SRO Production

Standing Room Only Theater returns with our first major musical production since 2019! This August, experience the magic of "Roger's & Hammerstein's Cinderella" live on stage. Music by Richard Rodgers, Book and Lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, Adapted for the Stage by Tom Briggs from the Teleplay by Robert L. Freedman.

The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance. Originally presented on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews, Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella was the most widely viewed program in the history of the medium. Its recreation in 1965 starring Lesley Ann Warren was no less successful in transporting a new generation to the miraculous kingdom of dreams-come-true, and so was a second remake in 1997, which starred Brandy as Cinderella and Whitney Houston as her Fairy Godmother. As adapted for the stage, with great warmth and more than a touch of hilarity, this romantic fairy tale still warms the hearts of children and adults alike.

SRO's Production is Directed by Dale Sharp and Daniel Wyman, with Musical Direction by Kelly Cornwall, and produced by Dawn Emilia Young, Steve Harshfield, and Yvette O'Keefe.

The show will perform in the Performing Arts Center at Yelm High School, 1315 W Yelm Ave, Yelm, WA 98597.

Performance dates are Friday, August 16th at 7pm, Saturday, August 17th at 2pm, Saturday, August 17th at 7pm, Friday, August 23rd at 7pm and Saturday, August 24th at 2pm.

Tickets are $20 for general admission, $15 for seniors and military, and $10 for children and students.
