Roddy Scheer is a Seattle-based author, journalist, and photographer specializing in environmental issues, travel and the outdoors. When he is not out in the field exploring and photographing, he runs EarthTalk, the nonprofit publisher of the nationally syndicated EarthTalk environmental Q&A column. A three-time Society of Professional Journalists “Excellence in Journalism” winner, Roddy has contributed to numerous regional and national publications and also leads kayak tours on Seattle’s inland waterways out of Agua Verde Paddle Club on Portage Bay.
