Join us for a late winter trip to the ADK and hike a mountain or 2. We will be staying at a house (Not camping).
This trip has a limited number of spaces available, please register and reserve your spot as soon as possible.
This hike IS RATED "ADVANCED" and has an age requirement of 18+*
**Are ADK trips a good fit for me?**
Whether we are hiking high peaks, low peaks, hiking in the ADK and on a weekend trip with ROCovery is much more physically demanding than one of our local hikes. Hiking a mile in the ADK can take up to an hour, you can expect miles up nonstop uphill or downhill with little to no flat areas. To maximize your safety and enjoyment, you should be prepared to hike for 10-12 hours at a time (all day) in challenging elevation, while carrying all of your food, water, and supplies needed for the day. It is for your safety that having these physical abilities is a recommendation for participation.
If you are unsure if these trips are a good fit for you, please talk with one of our staff members before registering. If you have a goal to attend an ADK trip in the future we can also help guide you in how to get your body and mind ready to attend!
Prior high peak/ADK hiking/equivalent fitness level and appropriate winter attire is suggested for everyone's safety and enjoyment.
