The festival will open on Thursday evening, November 12th with our first featured film, followed by another screening on Friday evening.
Saturday will bring two films and a special discussion panel with our filmmakers, festival guests, and Jury, followed by a celebratory gathering at a nearby venue (to be announced). 🎬 FIRST FILM ANNOUNCEMENT: 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑨𝑳𝑻𝑨𝑹 𝑩𝑶𝒀𝑺 (𝑴𝑰𝑵𝑰𝑺𝑻𝑹𝑨𝑵𝑪𝑰)
We are especially excited to announce one of the centerpieces of this year’s festival: the acclaimed 2025 comedy-drama 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒍𝒕𝒂𝒓 𝑩𝒐𝒚𝒔 (𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊), directed by 𝑷𝒊𝒐𝒕𝒓 𝑫𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒘𝒔𝒌𝒊.
And even better—𝑷𝒊𝒐𝒕𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝑫𝒆𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒓! 🇵🇱✈️
The acclaimed Polish filmmaker will join us in person to present his film, meet our audience, and participate in a 𝑸&𝑨 𝒇𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒂𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒅𝒂𝒚, 𝑵𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 14 𝒔𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈

🏆 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑮𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒏 𝑳𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑩𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒎 𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 50𝒕𝒉 𝑷𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒎 𝑭𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒂𝒍 𝒊𝒏 𝑮𝒅𝒚𝒏𝒊𝒂, "The Altar Boys" is a bold coming-of-age comedy-drama set in a small provincial town.
The film follows a group of teenage altar boys who, frustrated by adult hypocrisy and indifference, decide to take justice into their own hands—gradually blurring the line between moral idealism and vigilantism. Energetic, funny, provocative, and at times unsettling, the film combines youthful rebellion with sharp social commentary on 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉, 𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓, 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒅𝒖𝒍𝒕 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅.
Original and fearless, 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒍𝒕𝒂𝒓 𝑩𝒐𝒚𝒔 is exactly the kind of contemporary Polish filmmaking we are proud to bring to Rocky Mountain audiences.
