Traditional responses such as narrow upskilling and regulation will fail due to the exponential speed mismatch.
Preparation requires strategic repositioning and a different mindset

Info: Stephanie Mufic, Associate Director of Strategic Engagement at Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE). In this role, her team partners with Workforce Center Business Service
Representatives across the state. Stephanie leads a branch that performs federal and state program
administration and engages with employers throughout Colorado. Her group is responsible for
connecting employers with talent, focusing on work-based learning and providing innovative strategies
to ensure access to a diverse and skilled labor force.
Prior to her work in the public sector, Stephanie spent 31 years in private business. This extensive
background gives her a unique and valuable insight into the needs and challenges employers face. She is
passionate about using her experience to promote prosperity, innovation, and equal opportunities for
all Coloradans.

Info: RMAIN AI Prompt Engineering and Generative Art Creation. Participants are invited to submit their most innovative, effective, and creative prompts demonstrating mastery of AI interaction and artistic direction.

Entries will be evaluated using a structured four-point scoring framework emphasizing clarity, creativity, effectiveness, and impact. Submissions are due two weeks prior to the event on [March12th] to allow time for judging and curation.

Winner will be invited to present their prompt live, sharing insights on how they developed it, what makes it effective, and the key features or techniques behind its success.

These compilations aim to highlight excellence in prompt design and AI-driven creativity—celebrating how human imagination and artificial intelligence combine to produce extraordinary results.

Info: Higher education is accelerating AI adoption across research, teaching, and campus operations. Yet most campus networks remain the result of decades of layered tools, policy overlays, and accumulated exceptions — what can only be described as “Frankenstein networks.”

The common response is to apply more AI on top: copilots, dashboards, anomaly detection. But AI cannot correct architectural entropy. When the foundation is fragmented, inconsistent, and operationally dependent on manual intervention, AI is reduced to surfacing alerts rather than eliminating root causes.

This session challenges the assumption that more AI alone will solve network complexity. Instead, it explores what AI actually requires: a strong architectural foundation, deterministic design, consistent and high-quality telemetry, unified data context, deep instrumentation, and closed-loop automation that can act with guardrails and accountability.

Greg works at the intersection of higher education, emerging technologies, and organizational transformation, guiding teams as they explore how AI can improve operations, decision‑making, and teaching and learning.
With hands‑on experience advancing AI pilots and automation initiatives within a public institution, Greg brings a perspective to AI adoption, balancing innovation, governance, and real‑world impact. Greg has taught at the university for the past 10 years and has seen firsthand how Gen AI can either be a hindrance or some help to students if not adopted and utilized for what it is.
