It’s astounding. Time is fleeting. And once again, Rocky Horror is taking over Barking Legs Theater.
Seed Theatre’s annual production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show is anything but your average shadowcast. This is a full-scale, Broadway-style theatrical production performed live alongside the cult-classic film—combining the beloved tradition of Rocky Horror shadowcasting with the costumes, choreography, lighting, staging, and production value of a fully realized stage musical.
As the film plays on the big screen, a complete cast brings every moment to life directly in front of it: lip-syncing, dancing, strutting, seducing, and recreating the glorious chaos of Frank-N-Furter’s castle in real time. The result is part movie screening, part live theatre, part audience ritual—and 100% Rocky Horror.
Seed Theatre approaches Rocky Horror with the same professionalism and artistic ambition as any mainstage production. Our cast and production team spend months building a show that honors the film audiences have loved for generations while creating something unmistakably Seed: bold, queer, theatrical, unapologetic, and spectacularly over-the-top.

No need to build a prop bag before you arrive! Audience participation props are included with your ticket price and will be provided at the theatre. We’ll make sure you have what you need to join in the time-honored Rocky Horror traditions while helping us keep Barking Legs—and our performers—safe.

Accessibility & Neurodivergent-Friendly Performance WITH ASL — Thursday, October 29
Our Thursday, October 29 performance is our Accessibility & Neurodivergent Night, designed to make the Rocky Horror experience more welcoming for audience members who may find the traditional sensory intensity of the show overwhelming. This performance will feature thoughtful adjustments to lighting, sound, audience interaction, and other sensory elements while keeping the wonderfully weird, outrageous spirit of Rocky Horror intact. Audience members are always welcome to stim, move, take breaks, or step out and return as needed. This production night does not include prop bags as an adjustment to ensure the safety of our audience members who may be overwhelmed by items flying overhead. This production night will also include ASL interpretation.
