It's time to celebrate Pride at Rockwood Park & Museum! Rockwood Park & Museum is honoring its diverse perspectives and the LGBTQIA+ community with a month-long tour and free celebration this June.
Queer Rockwood Museum Tours
Explore Rockwood's history with under-told stories of the founding Shipley and Bringhurst family!
Joseph Shipley (1795-1867), Mary Bringhurst (1865-1965), and Edward V. Bringhurst (1884-1939) all rejected the gender norms of their time and sought unique artistic, cultural, and aesthetic pursuits. Their ground-breaking legacies shaped the Rockwood of today.

Pride Celebration: Saturday, June 22, 3-7 PM
Grab a blanket and head to the South Lawn for this free event featuring live music, drag entertainment, food trucks, and vendors.
During your visit, explore the grounds with self-guided park tours and scavenger hunts or head inside with free admission to Queer Rockwood Museum Tour.
Be sure to capture all the fun throughout the day with photo booths and selfie stations!
