Meet our June Artist: Christopher Kern

Christopher Robin Kern is a steel pan player and pianist/producer who has been playing in the Northwest for over 40 years. He is widely considered to be one of the top players in the country by his friends and colleagues. Christopher’s unique approach to the Caribbean Steel Pans sets him apart as a leader in performance and education. Musical styles include Calypso Jazz, Latin, Brazilian and original compositions as well as Reggae and in particular the music of J.S. Bach.
