What does « Do It Yourself » really mean in 2025? Today, artists have more control than ever. With access to streaming platforms, self-publishing tools, and direct-to-fan engagement, DIY is no longer just an alternative. For many, it’s a creative choice and a way to build a career and artist life on their own terms.
This panel brings together artists, whose projects blur the lines between artist, label, marketing expert, and community builder.

🎤Maël & Jonas:
Maël & Jonas are two friends who met at music school and have been carving out their own path in music ever since. Their journey began in 2020 on The Voice of Germany, where they finished in third place — and in 2025, they returned to the same stage as All-Stars, where it all began.
In 2022, they’ve placed second in Germany’s Eurovision Song Contest pre-selection, released two albums since then, achieved millions of streams, and are about to embark on their fifth headline tour. Their breakout single "I Swear to God" — with over 30 million streams and certified Gold in Austria — established them as a key voice in the European indie pop scene.
Blending indie, rock, and pop, their sound is handmade, honest, and full of energy. Everything is done independently — written, produced, and performed by Maël & Jonas themselves — music created directly by them, for their audience.
Alongside sold-out shows across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, they’ve also toured the U.S. and Canada as support for New Friends. For Maël & Jonas, it all comes down to one thing: the connection that happens when honest music meets open ears — raw, alive, and full of movement.
🎤Tun Biever:
Tun Biever, a performer, entrepreneur and artist manager, holds a Bsc from ESCP Europe and a MA from Berklee in Music Business. He is part of TUYS, an art rock band that has toured Europe extensively and opened for bands like The 1975 and Arctic Monkeys. He founded TWO STEPS TWICE, a label and management company, after stints at Virgin Music (Universal) in Berlin and Sony Music in Paris. Tun is also the president of FAMIL, an association dedicated to performing musicians in Luxembourg.
