About this Event
Hi friends! Come hang out with us at Every Little Blessing for "Spring is in the Air!" on Saturday, April 18th, from 10:00am – 11:00 am (located at 7930 N. Mesa, Suite B-7, in the same shopping center as Hobby Lobby). We will be exploring spring animals and themes, creepy crawly bug fun, childhood games, music, sensory activities, and more!
Tickets for this event are sponsored by the El Paso Community Foundation, and are therefore FREE - ONLY the PARTICIPATING CHILD needs a ticket for Rockin' Tykes. Every child must be accompanied by an adult who will be participating with them throughout the entire hour-long session. Event is targeted to participants 18 months to 5 years of age, though some younger and slightly older kids have also been known to enjoy the activities. Attendance will be capped at 20 children.
ROCKIN’ TYKES is a one-hour music-filled workshop for children (ages 18 months-4 years of age plus) and their parents/guardians using music and other art forms. The class is run by speech-language pathologists and other providers specializing in early intervention. It aims to help children reach age-appropriate developmental milestones and encourage parent-child and peer-to-peer interaction, while simultaneously promoting the arts. We strive to host the event at different community locations to expose families to child/art friendly spaces throughout the city.
***Photography and Video will be taken during sessions and this will be used for recaps of the event, as well as for grant-writing and promotional materials. Attendance to this event confirms permission for photograpy and video for the above-mentioned purposes***
