ROCKIN’ TYKES is a one-hour music-filled workshop for children (ages 18 months-4 years of age plus) and their parents/guardians using music and other art forms. The class is run by speech-language pathologists and other providers specializing in early intervention. It aims to help children reach age-appropriate developmental milestones and encourage parent-child and peer-to-peer interaction, while simultaneously promoting the arts. We strive to host the event at different community locations to expose families to child/art friendly spaces throughout the city.
***Photography and Video will be taken during sessions and this will be used for recaps of the event, as well as for grant-writing and promotional materials. Attendance to this event confirms permission for photograpy and video for the above-mentioned purposes***
