Please register if you haven't already! Most of you have attended, so you know how fun of a day it is. For those that haven't plunged in the past, it doesn't matter if you dip a toe, go knee high, waist high, or take the full plunge! You must raise a minimum of $100 to earn the coveted Polar Plunge Sweatshirt and to take the PLUNGE!

TIMES FOR MARCH 1:
9:00 AM Meet at Top Dog Pizza & Pub (8638 N 2nd St, Machesney Park, IL 61115)
Top Dog is offering our team a $30 three-hour drink and food package including:
Breakfast pizzas, bacon, french toast pre-plunge
Pizzas and wings post-plunge
Well liquors
Domestic drafts
Featured shot choices
Friends and family members can join us at the pre/post party and take advantage of the food/drink package even if they are not plunging!!
10:30AM We will head to Olson Lake @ Rock Cut State Park
The bus will pick us up at 10:30am to take us to the lake. The bus fits 47 people, so friends and family are also welcome, even if they are not plunging! Please let me know if you have a spectator who wants to ride the bus with us. If we fill up the bus, the cost will be $15/person. 11:30AM Awards ceremony
12:00PM PLUNGE!
Post-plunge, we will head back to Top Dog, where the 3-hour drink/food package will continue.
LOGISTICS
CHANGE OF CLOTHES: You will want to bring a change of clothes & dry shoes to the plunge site with you, they will have female and male tents where you can change immediately after plunging. We will hopefully have a few spectators who can hold bags with our extra clothes while we plunge.
TOWEL: Unlike the Chicago Plunge, they do not hand out towels as we exit the water so you will want to bring one.
FOOTWEAR: When you are plunging you must have footwear- closed-toe! You don't want to run into the lake and cut your foot on ice or anything someone accidentally dropped. Old sneakers or crocs work great. They will not let you plunge without closed-toe footwear.
The plunge is pretty quick, you run in as far as you are comfortable and then sprint on out.

The 2025 theme is.......COWBOY! ðŸ¤
Channel your inner Cowboy Carter, saddle up, and bring your western best! We announced the theme extra early this year, knowing that Party City has costumes heavily discounted with their stores closing.
