Rockford Digital Opportunity Initiative - January Meeting

Please gather for the upcoming Rockford Digital Opportunity Initiative (RDOI) meetings.

Coalition members and key community stakeholders will gather to identify how we can work together to address the digital divide and foster digital opportunity in the Rockford region to create a more connected, skilled, and inclusive Rockford.

January will focus on driving critical plan pieces forward and planning for broader community engagement and partnership. Join in the work!

Please share this invitation with anyone who may wish to attend, walk-ins are always welcome. Your insight, experience, and partnership at the table are critical.

Event Details: Rockford Digital Opportunity Initiative (RDOI) - Monthly Community Gathering

• Dates: Tuesday, January 27
• Time: 9:30 am to 11:30 am
• Location: RPL Nordlof Center (118 N Main St, Rockford, IL 61101)

Purpose: This collaborative effort, supported by Comcast through Project UP, is facilitated by NICNE and driven by partnership with local stakeholders and community members, representing a powerful, cross-sector response to address the digital divide and foster digital opportunity in our community.

In today’s world, access to the internet, digital devices, and the skills to use them effectively are essential, yet many in our community still face barriers to full digital participation. RDOI seeks to close that gap and empower Rockford residents with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive in the digital age.
