Rockford Dev September Meetup - Fun with AppScript

The Rockford Dev September Meetup is just around the corner! The month's event will take place on Wednesday, September 18th, 2024 at 6:00 PM at Maker Lab in the Rockford Public Library. We're going to go into a deep dive about the intricacies of Google Apps Script, Google's backend scripting language for Google Drive/Docs/Sheets. We will talk about the basic ways that you can enhance your Google Sheets, as well as some of the more arcane ways that you can use the Apps Script ecosystem to build and host websites and API's for free (with severe computation limitations).

Special thanks to Emma for presenting at this month's meeting. Emma has been a Google Apps Script dev for 8 years, and a full-stack MERN dev for 6. Using Google Sheets Emma built everything from self-hosted websites, APIs, a Cloudflare bypass, and even the occasional spreadsheet.
