May 7th - 10th Northumbria Musical Theatre Society will be performing ‘Rock of Ages’ In Stage 2, at Northumbria Students’ Union!
Rock of Ages is a high-energy, feel-good musical that throws you straight into the wild world of 1980s rock ‘n’ roll.?
Packed with iconic hits from the 80s, the show is a nonstop party of nostalgia, comedy, and over-the-top rock attitude.
Narrated by the amazing Stage Manager of the Bourbon Room Lonny, the story follows a small town girl Sherrie, who moves to LA alone and a city boy, Drew, who’s a bar back at the Bourbon Room who are both chasing their dreams of fame. But when German developers threaten to tear down the iconic Bourbon Room and shut down the Strip’s rock scene for good, the characters must come together to save the club that started it all. ??✨
