ROCK IN HAAPSALU ON TAGASI!
29.-30. augustini toimub Haapsalu Lossihoovis peale kuueaastast pausi taas Eesti muuusikasõprade seas armastatud Rock in Haapsalu. Suurüritus tuleb tagasi UK Pink Floyd Experience-i ja Uriah Heep-iga eesotsas.
Reedel, 29. august õhtul toob UK Pink Floyd Experience publikuni suurejoonelise show ja ligi kaks tundi Pink Floydi unustamatuid hitte. Elamuseks kujunevad kindlasti "Another Brick in the Wall", "Comfortably Numb", "High Hopes" ja teiste rokkmuusika klassikasse kuuluvate hittlugude esitused. Kontsert on pühendatud Pink Floydi võimsa albumi "Wish You Were Here" ilmumise 50. aastapäevale.
Lisaks Pink Floyd Experience’ile astub 29.augustil lavale ka legendaarne LED R! LED R on kunagise Eesti tippansambli RUJA liikmetest koosnev rockbänd, kes esitab neile omasel energilisel ja tihti ootamatult improviseerival moel ühe oma noorpõlve muusikalise eeskuju – Led Zeppelini – lugusid. Valjult, häbematult ja südamega!
Reedese festivalipäeva avab Erki Pärnoja - Eesti kitarrist ja helilooja, keda tuntakse filmilike, nostalgiast kantud helimaastike poolest. Segades dream-pop`i, ambient’i, post-rock’i ja psühhedeeliat, pakub tema muusika põhjamaist vaadet Morricone pärandile, kus 70ndatest inspireeritud kitarrikõlad põimuvad kaasaegsete atmosfääritekstuuridega. Erki on võitnud 3 Eesti muusikaauhinda ja andnud välja üheksa stuudioalbumit.
Laupäeval, 30. augustil astub lavale maailma vanimate ja nimekaimate tegevbändide reas olev Uriah Heep, kes on õigusega Eesti rokisõprade suur lemmik. Üle 50ne aasta laval publikut hullutanud staar on teatanud oma viimasest tuurist “Magicians Farewell”, seega on Eesti rokisõbral võimalus veel vaid üks kord nautida live-s "Lady in Black-i", “July Morning-ut”, ”Gypsy-t", Easy Living-it" ja teisi hitte.
Lisaks Uriah Heepile saab 30. augustil nautida ka meie enda säravat ja jõuliselt kaasahaaravat rokkbändi Ziggy Wild. Bändi laulja Laura Prits on oma karismaga kui rokktsunaami, mis ei jäta istuma ühtegi pealtvaatajat.
Teist festivalipäeva alustab energiast pakatava soolokavaga 2007. aasta "Eesti otsib superstaari" saatest tuule tiibadesse saanud Taavi Peterson. Tuntud vanaroki austajana on Taavi tagasi lavalaudadel olles legendaarse ansambli Pantokraator uus solist ja luues pidevalt uut omaloomingut.
Laupäeval, 30. augustil kl 14.00 - 17.00 on Lossihoov avatud kõigile spordisõpradele – suurtelt ekraanidelt näidatakse koostöös Go 3-ga korvpalli Euroopa meistrivõistluste Eesti–Tšehhi alagrupimängu. Sissepääs on kõigile tasuta.

From August 29-30, the beloved Rock in Haapsalu festival will make its return to Haapsalu Castle Courtyard after a six-year break. The major event comes back with UK Pink Floyd Experience and Uriah Heep as headliners.
Last held in 2019, the festival has brought unforgettable concerts to the Estonian audience. Over the years, legendary artists such as Gary Brooker with the festival orchestra and Haapsalu Chamber Choir, Katie Melua, James Morrison, Chris de Burgh, Paul Young, Bonnie Tyler, Suzi Quatro, and many other international stars have performed at the event. In 2018, the extremely talented duo 2Cellos delivered a spectacular sold-out show. The festival has also featured Estonia’s top artists and ensembles, as well as performers from neighboring Latvia and Lithuania.
According to Haapsalu Mayor Urmas Sukles, Rock in Haapsalu has always had the mission of bringing legendary musicians together within the grand and ancient castle walls, creating unforgettable summer music memories in one of Estonia’s most beautiful towns. “Haapsalu is beloved by Estonians, and the fusion of high-quality rock live performances with the summer atmosphere of the town has always been exceptional,” Sukles added.
On Friday, August 29, UK Pink Floyd Experience will deliver a spectacular show, featuring nearly two hours of Pink Floyd’s timeless hits. The audience can look forward to performances of classics like Another Brick in the Wall, Comfortably Numb, High Hopes, and more. The concert will be dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s iconic album Wish You Were Here.
Friday’s festival day will be opened by Erki Pärnoja – an Estonian guitarist and composer known for his cinematic, nostalgia-tinged soundscapes. Blending dream-pop, ambient, post-rock, and psychedelia, his music offers a Nordic take on Morricone’s legacy, where 70s-inspired guitar tones intertwine with contemporary atmospheric textures. Erki has won three Estonian Music Awards and released nine studio albums.
On Saturday, August 30, the legendary Uriah Heep, one of the world’s longest-running and most renowned rock bands, will take the stage. A longtime favorite of Estonian rock fans, the band has thrilled audiences for over 50 years and has now announced their farewell tour, Magicians Farewell. This will be a rare opportunity for Estonian rock lovers to experience live performances of Lady in Black, July Morning, Gypsy, Easy Living, and other hits one last time.
In addition to Uriah Heep, August 30 will also feature Estonia’s own dynamic and powerful rock band Ziggy Wild. Frontwoman Laura Prits is a force of nature, a true rock ‘n’ roll tsunami who won’t let a single spectator stay seated.
The second day of the festival kicks off with a high-energy solo performance by Taavi Peterson, who rose to fame in 2007 through the show "Eesti otsib superstaari" (Estonia’s version of Idol). A devoted fan of classic rock, Taavi has made his return to the stage as the new lead singer of the legendary band Pantokraator, while also continuously creating new original music.
