Rochester, MN – The NAACP Rochester Branch MN proudly announces its premier event of the year—the 2025 Freedom Fund Banquet, celebrating the Branch’s 60th Anniversary.

Sixty years ago, on October 11, 1965, the Rochester Branch of the NAACP was established to advance social justice, expand civil and human rights, eliminate discrimination, and accelerate opportunities in education, economic equity, and well-being.

This milestone celebration will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 5:00–10:00 PM at the Hilton Rochester Mayo Clinic Area (10 East Center Street, Rochester, MN 55904).

This year’s theme, “𝟲𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗨𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗼𝘄!”, honors six decades of resilience, advocacy, and progress while underscoring the urgent need for renewed dedication to social justice, civic engagement, leadership, and collective action. The banquet will celebrate hard-fought victories, highlight current efforts, and emphasize the power of community in shaping a brighter and more just future.
