Rochester 'Light the Night' Walk for Blood Cancer Awareness

Adult cancer survivors have about a 42% higher risk of heart disease, 52% higher risk of heart failure, and 22% higher risk of stroke compared to those without cancer. And people with heart disease — especially those with cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic syndrome (CKM syndrome) — have a higher risk of developing cancer. So it makes sense that we ramp up support for preventing both heart disease and cancer--no brainer! One way to do that is to seek out opportunities that will foster success for both causes. To that end, won't you please consider joining us in supporting Blood Cancer United's 'Light the Night' Event on Saturday September 19. It's the ONLY 'Light the Night' event in Rochester!
