Bring a parent or friend and code a robot from our collection in this uniquely fun robotics workshop for kids!
About this Event

Unique, fun and technical! This 1.5hr workshop will focus on Block Coding and is designed for 7–10-year olds with an interest in robotics. Students can choose a programmable robot of their choice and experienced robotics teachers will guide students through carefully selected activities. A choice of difficulty level is also available to suit every learner. Collaborating with a parent or friend to build programming skill is highly recommended!

About the facilitator:

Nick Shirlaw has been a Head Teacher of Technology in two of Sydney’s top academic selective schools. He is the director of STEM World, which aims to upskill students across Sydney to best prepare them for a technological world.

Nick’s goal is to help students develop the qualities and skills employers look for in a 21st century world. By developing and delivering fun and engaging STEM programs for students across Sydney, he enjoys helping students achieve their best and aspire to be the next generation of skilled professionals.
