Robot Arm Challenge

Ready to give a robot a hand and tell it exactly what to do? In this hands-on workshop, students will work in teams to control a robotic arm using Blockly, an easy-to-learn, block-based coding tool. Students will explore how robotic arms move, grasp, lift, and move objects while learning how teamwork, and creative problem-solving help robots complete a task. Through a series of gripper and block-manipulation challenges, students will guide the robot’s gripper through a series of increasingly difficult challenges that require strategy, precision, and collaboration.
