Robin Ince at Redruth Library
About this Event
We’re delighted to welcome the brilliant Robin Ince to Redruth Library on Friday 26th June. Doors at 18:30. Event starts at 19:00 and we expect it to last approx 1.5 hours. Refreshments will be available to purchase on the night.
Join us for an evening with Robin as he discusses his acclaimed book Normally Weird and Weirdly Normal – What if being a bit weird is actually entirely normal? This book is a powerful, personal exploration of anxiety, ADHD and neurodiversity. Robin will also be sharing his poetry collection, Let the Quiet Ones Rise.
Expect plenty of Robin’s trademark humour, alongside poetry, thoughtful insights and an opportunity for audience questions. Books will be available to purchase on the night, with a chance to have your copy signed.
Robin Ince is many things. A multi award winning comedian, author, broadcaster, bibliomaniac and a populariser of scientific ideas. He is perhaps best known as the former co-host and co-creator of the Sony Gold Award winning BBC Radio 4 series The Infinite Monkey Cage with Professor Brian Cox.
'Authentic, heartbreakingly wonderful and refreshingly grounded – this book captures the internal neurodivergent experience with rare grace and warmth' – Camilla Pang, author of Explaining Humans
'Tingles with the joy of being different. This book made me so happy' – Chris Packham, naturalist and author of Fingers in the Sparkle Jar
