Robert Ellis at Live From The Divide

For more than a decade, Robert Ellis has built a reputation as one of the most thoughtful and versatile artists in American music. Blending sharp storytelling with masterful musicianship, he has earned praise from NPR, Rolling Stone, and The New York Times while continually reinventing his sound across folk, country, jazz, and beyond.
His latest album, Yesterday's News, strips everything back to its essentials. Recorded live to tape over just two days, the collection pairs Ellis's expressive vocals with delicate fingerpicked guitar, upright bass, and sparse percussion, creating an intimate listening experience that highlights the depth and nuance of his songwriting.
Known for performances that feel both deeply personal and effortlessly captivating, Ellis brings a rare combination of technical skill, emotional honesty, and quiet humor to the stage.
Live From the Divide welcomes Robert Ellis to Livingston's historic Empire Twin Theatre for an intimate evening of music and storytelling. With seating limited to just 100 guests, the venue's listening-room atmosphere offers a rare opportunity to experience one of today's most respected singer-songwriters up close.
Fans of thoughtful songwriting, masterful musicianship, and artists such as Nick Drake, Richard Thompson, John Prine, and Paul Simon won't want to miss this special evening.
