The second annual Roar Offshore Boat Race Championships return to Fort Myers Beach the weekend of Oct. 8 to 10, and the Lani Kai is a continued and proud sponsor of the event, offering FREE and EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE options for those looking for some of the best seats to watch all the high-performance action along the gulfside shoreline.Come out to the official Roar Offshore KickOff party earlier in the week (details on that coming soon), and during Race Weekend:

The Lani Kai’s several ground-level bars, including the resort’s latest venue, the Key West Cove lounge near the pool, will remain open to the public that weekend, with beach games for the whole family as usual, hosted by house DJs.

The Sabal Palm Patio Bar and Grill, located on the first floor of the Lani Kai, will offer its full bar, food and drink menus, and perfectly situated balcony tables and bar stools during race day Saturday. Call 239-463-3111 to pre-order seat(s).

As the Sun Deck at the Lani Kai is one of the absolute top-notch spots to watch the races from an aerial view, to keep the rooftop bar and restaurant from becoming overcrowded that Saturday, it will only be open to those who pre-order their tables.
These per-table premiums will actually include food and beverage, allowing guests to enjoy food and drinks up to that cost at no extra fee.
Upon reserving your Sun Deck table or bar seat for race day Saturday, guests may enjoy Sun Deck food and beverage during the race between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. up to that amount. If patrons do not reach that amount, a refund will not be issued, and should they go over, they simply pay the difference.

The award-winning and well-air-conditioned top-floor Island View restaurant also plans to offer premium seating to enjoy the races race day Saturday, with a per-person cost depending on your table location – which includes food and drink credit up to the amount you paid for your seat/table.

Your seat/table reservation and pre-payment guarantees your spot between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9 in your requested venue, and the Sabal Palm, Sun Deck and Island View full bars will be available to enjoy fabulous and refreshingly cool cocktails throughout the event.
Payment must be made in advance prior to race day to ensure your spot by calling the front desk, 239-463-3111. With parking expected to be even more of a nightmare than usual that weekend, we encourage patrons to carpool, as even our lots will be limited that weekend, and we cannot guarantee spots for patrons that weekend.
