Roadkill Nights Unofficial Pre-Party - Brook Does Pontiac (BDP)
About this Event
PARTY + Art + Cars
Brook Does Pontiac! (BDP)
It doesn’t matter who TF Brook is... @brookbanham
BDP is the Unofficial Roadkill Nights Pre-Party.
An underground gathering taking over the Pontiac Creative Arts Center (PCAC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization, the night before Roadkill Nights hits M1 Concourse.
All proceeds, including tickets, support the Pontiac Creative Arts Center and its mission to keep art alive in Pontiac.
Expect a bangin’ throwdown of art, cars, underground music, and good people bringing good vibes. Car people. Art people. Creative troublemakers... the folks who’d rather hang than sit in the hotel bar waiting for Saturday.
You bring the cray-cray.
We bring the art to pARTy!
Take some Detroit away with you!
Apart from the memories, you can take a piece of Detroit home with you. Original artwork, prints, and affordable pieces will be available for every budget and in every size.
This inaugural Brook Does Pontiac (BDP) marks the beginning of what will become the annual tradition: Detroit’s automotive art reception and underground gathering held the night before Roadkill Nights.
And yes…
Brook uses NO AI in his shit.
Everything is raw.
Everything is handmade.
Everything is original.
No prompts.
No shortcuts.
No robots.
Just paint, pens, mistakes, late nights, maybe some cussing, and Detroit.
Take an original piece of Detroit with you!
We’re filling the gallery with small and large-scale artwork, dope AF cars, creative characters, and an atmosphere.
More party, Less art opening.
Yes, it’s also a car show.
Park your ride.
Hang.
We also have dope machines already lined up, too.
Yours can add to the pARTy!
WARNING:
If you’re a boring MF, don’t even bother.
ABOUT BROOK
...if you’re wondering…
…if you’re wondering.
@BrookBanham
Brook is a Detroit artist, designer, educator, and founder of Sketchbattle™—the live automotive sketching competition and underground design party that’s appeared at events ranging from the Detroit Auto Show to SEMA.
His work is fueled by Detroit, cars, music, design, and a healthy disregard for doing things the conventional way.
He’s creating a ton of affordable artwork for this show because good people should be able to take home a piece of Detroit—not just the rich.
Whether you’re coming for the cars, the art, the music, the people, or just looking for something better to do on a Friday night before Roadkill Nights…
Bring your peeps, rides & good vibes… Leave with a little piece of Detroit + memories of Pontiac, and fuel for Roadkill Nights.
