Road Trip to Chihuly at Frederik Meijer Gardens

We’re headed to Grand Rapids to experience the incredible glasswork of master artist Dale Chihuly! Our roundtrip coach bus transportation will take us to this incredible outdoor installation where color floats, curls and glows. Our group will enjoy a guided tram tour across 158 acres and experience Chihuly’s vibrant glass as it unfolds among gardens, water and sky—revealing moments of beauty around every turn. There will also be time to explore independently. We’ll walk to a nearby restaurant for lunch before hopping back on the bus for a relaxing ride home.
$115 per person includes access to the Gardens, tram tour with docent, coach bus transportation, snacks and lunch.

This event/tour will happen in rain or shine. Please dress for the weather that day.
Accessibility
Indoor and outdoor spaces are barrier-free, with ramps, elevators and paved pathways to accommodate wheelchairs, scooters and strollers and allow easy maneuverability. Courtesy wheelchairs and rental Electric Convenience Vehicle (ECV) “scooters” are available for use on a first-come, first-served basis. Although pets are prohibited, certified service dogs are welcome.

Each work is thoughtfully placed to blend art and nature, creating moments of beauty and surprise throughout the landscape. Inside the galleries, the ticketed exhibition Chihuly: Radiant Forms highlights more than 40 years of creative innovation. Featuring iconic series such as Baskets, Macchia, Seaforms, Putti, Ikebana, Persians, Venetians, Cylinders and Rotolo, the exhibition also includes original drawings that reveal Chihuly’s artistic process and inspiration
