This month’s Real Men Real Talk dives into how media and social media consumption shapes the way Black men and boys see themselves and how the world sees us. From the endless scroll to the intake of trauma-filled newsfeeds, the weight of what we watch is impacting our mental health in ways we don’t always name.
We’ll discuss:
• How much time we spend scrolling and what that does to our peace.
• The effects of constant exposure to negative content and stereotypes.
• The difference between being informed and being overwhelmed.
• How we can build a healthy media diet that uplifts instead of drains us.
• Tools for protecting our mental health while mentoring the next generation.
This is a safe space to unpack, release, and heal together.
